As a fire fighter I was always one event or one decision from being forced to make a career change. That fact became abundantly clear as I was in the hospital, recovering from a near-fatal accident in 1992.
So, in the years that followed, while I continued to provide for my family as a firefighter/paramedic, I went back to school and served an internship at a major Denver, CO television station. I learned to create epic, high-quality 3D video animations at low-cost, quickly and easily.
In anticipation of my retirement from a career in emergency services, I leveraged my college degrees in Instructional Design, Technology, Communications, and years of experience to begin a new career as the owner and executive producer at Hilltop Video Services (HVS).
